I bought two of these devices and the readings are different everywhere. The blocks never show the same temperature - one of them always shows a higher temperature than the actual temperature, and the other one always shows a colder one. They differ up to 2 degrees from each other (e.g. one shows 70, the other 72). They cannot be calibrated. If you need accuracy, please buy another model. If you're just looking for an approximate temperature, that's fine. Update: I was contacted by the seller (ATC LLC) who offered a replacement or refund. Very nice of them because that's really not what they said. Since we're only using them for approximate temperatures, they don't need to be as accurate, so they're fine for our needs. A nice touch though and it shows good customer service on their part.
