Got one - it showed 10-15+ degrees off on all readings (literally pointed at a thermometer and it said 15F off). I traded one in thinking it was just a bad block, but a second one came in and has almost the same (terrible) accuracy. If you're just looking for relative temperature (i.e. it's warmer than that) this will probably work fine, but if you plan to use it for grilling/smoking or something really temperature sensitive (candle making, candy making, etc.) I'd do better , find more reliable

I bought two of these devices and the readings are different everywhere. The blocks never show the same temperature - one of them always shows a higher temperature than the actual temperature, and the other one always shows a colder one. They differ up to 2 degrees from each other (e.g. one shows 70, the other 72). They cannot be calibrated. If you need accuracy, please buy another model.
