I am a soap maker. The first year I made soap, I used a candy thermometer and hated waiting for the thermometer to go off. I switched to a digital thermometer and have been using it for several years. It was good but still a hassle to use and needed cleaning after each use. I recently decided to make my life easier and got this temporary pistol. I LOVE IT! It's very easy to use, accurate and doesn't even touch my soap so I hardly have to clean it. I kick myself for not spending a little more to get this many years ago. I've had him for several months now. Works fine, no glitches. It's now a staple of my soap making equipment.
