A very useful tool. I used it to check the correct operation of air conditioners, since it is suitable for both negative degrees (very cold) and positive degrees (warm). I've also used it to test the performance of different roofing materials to see which one is best at keeping the house cool in the summer. The laser pointer helps with the accuracy of the surface to be read, which is greater the farther away it is from the device. Imagine a flashlight beam that gets bigger the farther away from the flashlight. The only thing that bothers me about this device is that there are sometimes a few quick trigger misses, even when holding it very tightly. This causes the device to take more than one reading per second, and since the thermometer beeps with each reading, it beeps many times per second rapidly. Unfortunately you can't disable the beep unless you take it apart and cut the wires, which I won. no worries. Anyway, this is a good gadget and tool that is very useful and handy.
