I really like this company.

I don't want to sound like an endorsement of this company and product, I'm definitely new to soldering so my opinion can be that of an expert. My advice: check out this company's website and make a decision. Their products appear to be primarily intended for electronics use, and they also offer a range of electronic components as well as soldering equipment. The first thing I liked about this product is the packaging. It was very efficient and tidy. For me, that was the first sign that not only sales are important to this manufacturer, but also quality. I used solder and flux to tin and splice some of the wires. Again, I'm a beginner and connecting two wires is no big deal when soldering. What I liked was that the solder wire was thin and flowed really well. A few extras have also been added. I've wondered about extra tinned wires and mini screwdrivers, but it wasn't until I looked at the free soldering book I was able to download that I realized how helpful extra tools can be when soldering electronics. Most of the information in the book is beyond my knowledge, but there are a few helpful tips I'll be sure to use.

Pros
  • Quality Assurance: The solder and paste kit is backed by a 30-day manufacturer's money-back guarantee and lifetime customer service to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
Cons
  • Not bad but...
