The expectations were justified.

Both solder and resin paste performed better than some of the more expensive products I've used in the past and the quantity is very good. The resin paste sheet is 2 3/8" in diameter and 3/4" in size. What is this paste at 1/2 depth. I bet the soldier is probably 30 feet long (but without turning him around to check) there's nothing but good things to say about him. Rschunimagu

Great soldering kit for beginners! The best solution for your Buck

This package is not the best of the best top of the range or anything like that. But for less than $10 he gives me a decent amount of wire in case I need it, micro screwdriver and flux paste! The solder is NOT 60/40 rosin and is very small in diameter. But it's more than PERFECT to mod my Xbox One console and controllers. Excellent quality, soldering works well, flux melts as it should then sticks. Definitely recommend, 5/5 Great product!

You NEED this flux to make great solder joints. Lot is an added bonus!

If you attempt to solder without flux, prepare for frustration and frustration. I needed some flux, and this kit included a large spool of resin-cored silver-lead solder for the same price as several small cans of flux alone. I've used this flux and solder on two projects already and it works great. The amount included is probably a lifetime supply for most hobbyists like me. I hope this review helps you!

Excellent value for money, just what you need to get started soldering

I needed rosin based flux (which is safe for electronics) and didn't have enough solder so I decided to give it a try. I have no complaints. The solder is easy to use as it contains 60/40 tin-lead instead of lead-free, and while thin it does the job. Other options for purchasing rosin paste flux were more expensive than this and did not include additional services. It was $10. The wire can be useful depending on your needs, although it is also quite thin. I haven't tried the online resources…
