Ha! My bike is now self supporting! I installed it on Fuji Finest 1.1. There was not enough space for an installation without modification. Luckily, an angle grinder with a cutting disc made the necessary modifications much easier. (See photos.) I ended up shortening it to 270, but maybe a little shorter would have been even better. It's impossible to invoke, so I'm happy to prove it wrong. Of course, bike snobs will look down on you for daring to put up a rack, but I will look down on all their bikes lying in the grass.
