Review on Cuescreens for Cadillac CUE Premium Replacement: Upgraded Gel-Free Touch Screen Display + Free Tool Kit & Install Guides by Joel Payne

Revainrating 5 out of 5

An excellent alternative to repairing Cadillac Cue $150 vs. thousand at a dealer repair

Received this product today. I started installing the product at 11am. I finished installing the product just after 1pm. So it took me 2 hours in total. Very easy installation. Everything went very easily out of the car. All you need is a body repair tool and a 7mm socket. The Cadillac cue assembly comes out immediately. I looked at the instructions and then quickly dismantled everything. Very easy to understand with step-by-step instructions. With very small plugins you have to be careful when disassembling, but everything worked out fine. You should also pay attention to the fastening screws versus plastic screws during disassembly. Fastening screws go into metal (screws have very fine threads), plastic screws have wider threads. The first step I had trouble with was bringing the black box back to the screen. I had to wiggle it, but it eventually snapped back into place, allowing me to re-tighten the 5 screws on top, reconnecting the shield and duct. I would say this is a very doable project for almost anyone. If you don't want to spend $1700 at a GM dealership and want to fix the screen yourself for $150. What you have to do is watch the video multiple times (no tools in your hands). Make sure you know exactly what to do. I watched the video several times and then played it step by step while doing the repair. I would give this product 5 stars. My Cadillac CUE works like it used to! I just hope this aftermarket screen lasts longer than GM's OEM (I hope it lasts as long as I own the car). I would buy this product again and would recommend it to all Cadillac owners.
