I can't fully test this yet because my Gigabyte motherboard has a default M.2 (M2Q) slot layout which is from the not yet released 11 th generation of Intel processors. However, I was able to plug in the USB and test the Bluetooth functionality of my connected M.2 Type E Intel Wi-Fi/Bluetooth card and it seems to be working great! its "ground" through the usb connection. After installing the m.2 adapter with my Intel WiFi/Bluetooth card installed on it (but not yet connected via USB), I touched my motherboard and got a hard knock that disabled the board. I duplicated the results three times to make sure it wasn't due to static electricity from the dry Utah air. After plugging in the USB connector, I no longer had this problem. So it could have something to do with my Wi-Fi card adjusted through this adapter or with interference in the air. I suspect the adapter board is the problem.
