These boots are very soft inside, bend easily and do not deform when worn. The boots are really warm. Our daughter wore these in the snowy mountains at 5°F until she was 2 and she was absolutely comfortable (we bought 2 sizes of shoes to wear warm socks with enough room to avoid tightness). But during a walk in the wet snow, the boots got wet. especially around the toes. So they are not waterproof! Although the manufacturer advertises them as waterproof.
