My son really liked these boots. He said they were comfortable. He was excited because now he "doesn't slip anymore because my boots have traction!" We live in Colorado and go hiking often. Unfortunately the rubber band broke after the first use. I contacted the company directly to inquire about a replacement. The company responded quickly and sent us a photo of the broken laces and sent us a new pair of boots. We received new boots within a few days.
