You will need a foam insert attached to the digitizer.

The digitizer must have a barrier between the screen and the iPad body. The original has a strip of styrofoam around it, but it will most likely deteriorate once the old screen is removed. Without a foam barrier, the screen won't function properly and you'll end up with unstable lines and an unresponsive screen. Overall the quality of the parts is good, just missing one key element to make this pack worthwhile.

Best quality screen glass and glue

The installation went without any problems. I watched a YouTube video and that was helpful too. This touchscreen and adhesive was better than the previous ones (I paid about $20 for Revain. Stay away from the cheap price. You get what you pay for) where I was after the screen slid down and off the place moved. So I replaced it with this screen. So far, so good. I would recommend this one

Everything in the box

All the tools you need are in the box and the battery works like new again. Those microscopic screws can be a problem, but I managed. Adhesive strips are disposable items. Prepare things before you begin.

Not recommended in Computers & Accessories category

This screen was used as a replacement for the iPad Air screen. The glue worked on the left side but not on the right side where the cables connect to the screen. In addition, the top of the touchscreen does not respond to touch.

Works at a good price, best tablet spares

Good youtube video to help with installation. Works fine for less than you break it, I fix it. Keep all your screws in one organizer!

Easy to install

Screen works well. The only thing is when it unlocks it opens the app, it's kinda weird but it's all good. NOTE When you put the glass on, guide the ribbon cables down into the slot on the right side of the iPad, if you don't, the glass won't come off because the ribbon is pinched. The foam around the LCD was torn in several places so I used the thin tape on the top 3 to replace it. Works well except for unlocking and opening the app
