You will need a foam insert attached to the digitizer.
The digitizer must have a barrier between the screen and the iPad body. The original has a strip of styrofoam around it, but it will most likely deteriorate once the old screen is removed. Without a foam barrier, the screen won't function properly and you'll end up with unstable lines and an unresponsive screen. Overall the quality of the parts is good, just missing one key element to make this pack worthwhile.
