Review on 🌡️ Protmex PT6508: Advanced Temperature Humidity Meter for Indoor/Outdoor with Ambient, Dew Point, Wet Bulb Features, LCD Backlight, Min/Max Hold by Carl Watkins

Excellent customer service from this authentic seller of the product they make. I received a working tool, but the calibration compared to a certified precision gauge was off between 5-7% most of the time, which is outside the published range for the mid-range tool I was in. I contacted the seller through Revain's message assistant (not the best experience there) and the seller was very helpful. Within two days I was replied with a page on how to calibrate the document. This was easily possible directly via the buttons on the instrument. Using their process I was able to match the PT6508 to a known certified instrument. Several tests have shown that the accuracy is now between 1/2 and 1% compared to the standard. The seller also registered the idea of changing the C/F button to stay in the last off position so you don't have to toggle to F every time you turn it on. At the moment there is no solution for this, but an idea for the next generation. For the price and with the correct calibration reset I am very happy with the instrument. The calibration procedure allows you to perform temperature and/or humidity calibrations.
