🌡️ Protmex PT6508: Advanced Temperature Humidity Meter for Indoor/Outdoor with Ambient, Dew Point, Wet Bulb Features, LCD Backlight, Min/Max Hold Review

I have several different brands of these thermohygrometers. This is a good, accurate gauge. The only thing I don't like is the need to switch from Celsius to Fahrenheit every time I use it, but I'll admit it's a minor thing. I like the UEI DTH10 gauge better (it's smaller and exactly the same), but it's a good tool at a reasonable price.

When I work with HVAC, I need to know the wet bulb temperature. He calculates that for me. I lost the one I had so I bought another one and then found my original. As you can see, both disagree. They were both left in the picture long enough to have accurate readings. I still like them, I just wish I knew exactly what the numbers were supposed to be.

I bought this item to measure humidity and temperature indoors. Humidity and temperature readings were consistent with other similar instruments used by others/contractors giving a sense of security. The product recorded temperature and humidity changes within seconds of the environmental change. So far this tool has been great.

I'm disappointed that weather forecasters outside of Arizona don't understand the importance of dew point to Arizona residents. I knew they wouldn't change. So I decided to solve my problem by buying a device that would allow me to find the dew point. The device is easy to use and I can get real-time temperature and dew point information every day. . An Extech hygrometer (a large screen home model) told me it wasn't that bad, but my cracked skin told me otherwise . This Protmex confirmed that my skin was telling me the truth and that the humidity was terrible - I continued in Celsius and you have to press a button to switch to F. I wish it would remember my preferences. but overall it's well made, 10x more accurate than Extech and 100x faster. The Extech (big screen home model) takes about half an hour to stabilize on (false) readings…

Seems to be the perfect inexpensive handy device I wanted to measure temperature, humidity, DP and WB in my apartment. The selling point was the approximately 20 positive reviews. Unfortunately, while it's beautiful, comfortable, and seemingly well-made, it seems to measure at least 2 to 3 degrees Fahrenheit compared to two ThermPro temperature/humidity monitors and a lab thermometer. All other measures are therefore questionable. Maybe because all things are made in China I just got a bad one.

Excellent customer service from this authentic seller of the product they make. I received a working tool, but the calibration compared to a certified precision gauge was off between 5-7% most of the time, which is outside the published range for the mid-range tool I was in. I contacted the seller through Revain's message assistant (not the best experience there) and the seller was very helpful. Within two days I was replied with a page on how to calibrate the document.
