Review on ๐ŸŒฒ Pointehaven King Size Cedar Percale Sheet Set - 200 Thread Count by Sherry Schneider

Crispy, cool and great value

I've searched and searched and researched to find the crispy leaves my grandma used to have and hung them on a line to dry! I didn't want to pay goddamn luck for it, though. What I've learned through my research is that thread count doesn't matter that much in terms of clarity. Actually 200 threads is enough if you get percale fabric. The weave of the percale is the part that makes the sheets crisp. So I was happy to find them for the price they were - $30 for a double set, which is really cheap. The reason I want these crisp sheets is because I'm going through menopause and have night sweats and need a set of 100% cotton sheets. I received them, took them out of the box and I knew they would work, just by feel. I washed them without fabric softener and hung them out to dry. I slept in them that night and they are definitely fresher than half the sheets that claim to be the same as your grandma's. I slept colder than ever. However, I will say that they are not exactly like your grandmother's. But I think that's because in your grandmother's day there weren't things like chemicals when they made sheets like they do today. So the point. For the price and the year of issue, that is, for the current point in time, they are profitable. To be honest, I think the only way to find sheets like my grandma's is to buy them at a thrift store or on eBay in unopened vintage packaging. Wish me good luck! Oh and PS those wrinkles! And indeed, this is a sign that it will be crispy leaves! When people complain about rumpled sheets and it bothers them, I wonder who on earth would iron their sheets? And for what purpose? You'll just lie on top of them and fold them even more! It just doesn't make any sense to me.
