I like this! - Interior

Have looked at this and WeatherTech liner. Went with them because they have cleats on the bottom to grab and snap onto standard bottom cleats (driver's side only) to secure. There are negative reviews on WeatherTech that they don't attach to the cleats and they slip which can cause problems. Two weeks later they are already covered with salt. Pros: Fits:. Large! Adapts to the ground contour. Go pretty straight on the sides. Size: They run behind the pedal, perfectly cover the left footstool area and have high sides to hold melted snow/ice. Quality: Thick, durable plastic. Should last a few years. One problem is that where your heel is at the base of the gas pedal, they can wear out prematurely. There is a depression where water collects, so it would be better if the plastic was thicker there. The time will show. Spikes: These things are really exciting! Cost: very cheap in my opinion. Pays off with increased resale value if you sell your car with new carpet in 4-8 years. Cons: Passenger side: Lightweight but will NOT snap into floor mat studs like the driver's side. I don't know why it is like this. There is no hole in the carpet. Just a raised area to allow the mat to fit over the studs. The spikes on the bottom still hold it in place, albeit quite well. Neutral: Installation: Can be difficult. Follow the instructions and move the front seats backwards for the front mats and forward for the rear mats to make things easier, otherwise you'll have to force them somehow. but that's good because it means they match. Difficult in cold weather as they become stiff. When installing in winter, warm them next to (not too close to) an indirect heat source to make them more flexible. Aside from that. WEAR WORK GLOVES, those damn spikes are sharp. I kick myself for not putting them in my other beige carpeted car 5 years ago (now a ruined event even though I had some carpets and rubber mats). Well, live and learn, right? Overall 5 stars from someone who doesn't give 5 stars very often.
