Review on πŸ› οΈ Construction Knee Pads for Professional Work by Matthew Burnett

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good knee pads for the price, slightly poor design

These knee pads were a very cheap upgrade and I really liked them for a long time. After three major projects (laminate and tile installation almost the entire floor) the velcro seam on both pads started to open and close. In terms of comfort, they are excellent for medium use and short periods of time. As the stitching unraveled, I had to tighten the straps, which caused me to start getting sores on the skin behind my kneecaps. Eventually the bruising and irritation convinced me to buy others with very thick straps. I would say my main complaint here is that fitting a thinner strap will inevitably result in the strap slipping onto the sensitive part at the back of your legs and when you bend over it it starts to really hurt. I bought a slightly different design where the pad is held above the hip and it's MUCH better. However, I still like the knee pads for the price and durability. The lining is heavily used and has almost no damage worth mentioning, and the hole in the seam sews up without any problems. It was the thin strap that really convinced me to try a different design. Overall great knee pads.
