I bought this small office humidifier at work as the air is incredibly dry, after a day at my desk my hair looks like I stuck my finger in a socket . The humidifier works as advertised and my colleagues have been talking about buying one for their offices. The only thing to consider, and by no means a downside of a humidifier, is if you have hard water. Hard water forms a white film anywhere near the humidifier. Distilled water is recommended in humidifiers, but who wants to buy a gallon every few days? Not me. Instead I have to clean my desk about once a week because my desk is brown wood (see picture).
