No 50mm lens included
I bought a Canon AE-1 because my mother had one when I was a kid. Of course, I was also looking forward to a 50mm lens that I could take with me on trips. When I received the camera I found that it came with a cheap plastic zoom lens. I saved the purchase for travel but ended up buying it from a local camera store that I discovered shortly after purchase. The camera is mostly functional. However, sometimes after the picture is taken and the film is sent, the film is not sent or is not sent in full - which is a bit frustrating - but maybe that's to be expected?
