This is a fantastic floor puzzle for a 4 year old. It's strong, colorful, complex, but not so complex that it would be too frustrating for an impatient toddler. The pieces are large, easy to handle with small hands and snap together effortlessly. The box that the puzzle comes in also doubles as a great carrying case, helping to keep this puzzle organized and organized when not in use. My 4 year old daughter loves princesses and unicorns but even she is a big fan of this dinosaur puzzle. The colors are vibrant and the scene is organized in a way that toddlers use logic to try and figure out which pieces fit together. This puzzle is definitely a keeper and I plan on buying others as gifts now that I know how awesome it is.
