I thought this guy would be perfect for charging my phone as the tip snaps into place while charging. Bought 2 sets as spares. One in my Sorrento and one in my Corolla. Another in my travel bag for work and home. In all cases, the short circuit in the cable occurs in less than 30 days. On my own I have to wiggle and hold at a certain point to start charging and it's so frustrating. I had the same problem with the supposedly high quality Anker brand. They all fail within a month or two.
