I've worn these GRITION boots on numerous hiking and mountaineering trips and they've held up pretty well over time. They're definitely waterproof and provide great protection against the elements, as well as excellent traction on various terrains. However, I wouldn't say they're the most comfortable boots out there. The fit is quite snug, which is great for stability but not so much for all-day wear. Additionally, they don't have the best ventilation, so my feet tend to get hot and sweaty during longer treks. Overall, I'd give these boots a solid 3 stars – they get the job done, but without much added comfort.
