Review on πŸ”₯ Corsair 275R Airflow Tempered Glass Mid-Tower Gaming Case - White: Optimal Cooling and Slick Design by Terry Paige

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Amazing temperatures, great build experience

I love this case! Switching to air instead of water on my 3900x meant I needed a lot of air flowing around my components and this thing works phenomenally. With my NH-D15 (which fits easily because there is a lot of space in the case), my CPU temperature never rises above 75 degrees, no matter how long I'm under load. If you've never built a computer before, I highly recommend this case. With plenty of room inside, you don't have to try to find compatibility with it; as I said, my d15 fits in with space. Cable management was also straightforward, and the PSU/HDD cover looks very slick. Aesthetically, too, the case looks great; However, it comes with fans that don't seem to be of high quality and there is no backlight inside the case so I had to buy a 3 RGB fan kit. Not a huge complaint but something to keep in mind. Overall Rating: Great for new builders, great for experienced builders, and worth sacrificing aesthetics to begin with if you're on a budget and can't add fans to the case. I would embed it and get fans later; Keeping your parts cool is the most important thing! Edit: I ended up having to replace the RAM (LPX was not compatible with my motherboard) and the 140mm was NOT erased with the new gskill RAM kit. I had to switch to 120mm. Keep this in mind if you intend to use such a cooler. Also, I was able to mount a 3x120mm fan on top, although only 2x120mm fans are supported. It fits exactly, I don't think a radiator will fit on it.

Pros
  • Clean and modern design, sloped ventilation system and clear tempered glass side panel that opens a window into your system
Cons
  • Annoys
