We wanted to try switching to a pod coffee maker but weren't sure we'd like it so we didn't spend the money on one of the bigger brands, right. a way. It will probably be delivered to our family cabin where it will only bother me about 10 days a year. It just doesn't brew very regularly. I add the recommended amount of water and then step back a little and come back and nothing happened. Then you open the tank and there is nothing. The first time this happened I thought maybe I was crazy and forgot to add water. So I put down another cup and this time it brewed and my cup overflowed with watered coffee. Press the brew button until something comes out. It totally depends on my mood, I had to hit the brew button 3-4 times before the coffee was actually brewed. In the beginning it happened maybe 1 time out of 10, and now it's probably 4 times out of 10. In the words of the great Michael Bluth, "I don't know what I was expecting" when I bought one of these for $40. Do what you want with this information.
