Bought this to replace a 2007 Pioneer Elite which sounded good but my XBox Series X (a 4K games console that comes with 4K/8K can handle) wanted to run video) via the HDMI input and connect one to my new 8k Samsung HDTV. Unfortunately it doesn't seem to be possible to play UHD with XBox (via an app, videos bought online or UHD Blu-ray). To get the maximum resolution I need to connect my XBox to an HDTV and use an arch. HDMI back to Marantz for sound. I keep checking if Marantz has an update to fix the problem but nothing. And the more I read online, there may never be an update that could fix this problem. Which makes me feel like it was a huge waste of money. For reference, I am using any 4K certified HDMI 2.1 cable.
