Wow wow wow! This bag is BEAUTIFUL! Exactly as advertised. The superfood is stiff on arrival, making it difficult to twist and bend, but it softens very quickly, as is the case with bags like this one. Strong smell on arrival but it's the third day now and I don't smell it at all not that it bothered me from the start. I finally put it on today and appreciate the large padded shoulder straps which are inherently soft and comfortable and allow the bag to feel like air on my back. The brown canvas lining in the pocket is a bit rough on the back of my hand when trying to fish deep in. When the pocket is open, it is very deep. Overall I LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS BAG! 2 MONTHS UPDATE: I've had this bag for two months now and have traveled around Africa and the Caribbean with it. I **CAN NOT CONFIRM** how amazing this holdall is. Surprisingly, thanks to the roll-top design, the bag is very secure and keeps things safe. Now it has become significantly softer and a little darker. My mom says that now when I wear it I look like a real seasoned traveler ;) Not a day goes by without someone from some socio-economic background praising the bag. People just love me! They think it's a super expensive bag and THEY point out to ME that this bag will outlive me. And they are right! The bag is so sturdy and well made. So far it has withstood the rough handling of my travels and now I am confident that the bag will truly outlive me! The flexible extra inches of the flip top were what made me buy the bag in the first place, and it was a good bet. I've needed these flexible inches at various points on my travels. Again the construction is very secure and if someone doesn't literally take the bag off their back this is a complete deterrent to pickpocketing. The truth is that the bag takes a little time to open and get inside, as well as when zipping and closing. he was tied up and imprisoned. It was also the calculation and price that I considered when purchasing this holdall and it turned out to be everything and more. Again, the padded shoulder straps didn't go unnoticed to offset the perception of weight when the bag is full and really heavy. I actually use the front pocket to hold my phone and again because of the buckle it's not quickly accessible so it's secure and a deterrent to pickpocketing. money well spent. 10 stars. Thank you!
