So I received this bag on Saturday evening and set out on Sunday morning before sunrise. I received supplements on this bag about once a day. The bag not only looked good but contained everything I needed, water, sand, top compartment and everything else I had thrown in for a week. If you can stomach the initially stronger leather smell then this is quite a unique backpack. If anyone knows about leather tanning you will understand why. I have it to store a 17" laptop and an 11x17 clipboard and it works great. I added some foam to increase protection which luckily I have done with other bags. To get rid of the odor, which will take a while, and to speed things up with some elbow oil and a 24-hour soda bath in a large garbage bag. It really helped with the smell in the bag.

The bag itself is made of hard leather and some kind of tarpaulin inside. Looks very good. The straps on what I received were a few inches longer than the photos. I had to make holes in it to attach the belt. The buckles are good but not the best quality, they do the job as long as you tighten the buckle properly. Wow wow wow! This bag is BEAUTIFUL! Exactly as advertised. The superfood is stiff on arrival, making it difficult to twist and bend, but it softens very quickly, as is the case with bags like this one. Strong smell on arrival but it's the third day now and I don't smell it at all not that it bothered me from the start.
