Review on Urban Dezire Leather Backpack Rucksack by Will Moorehead

Good bag but definitely with some flaws

The bag itself is made of hard leather and some kind of tarpaulin inside. Looks very good. The straps on what I received were a few inches longer than the photos. I had to make holes in it to attach the belt. The buckles are good but not the best quality, they do the job as long as you tighten the buckle properly. There was also a sticky substance on the buckles. I'm guessing it was some kind of cover to protect it for bag storage. The canvas material inside the bag is well bonded to the skin. Inside pocket zippers are made very cheaply. I wouldn't rely on them. If you bend the bag, parts of the zipper will open. A rolled top will pull the roll too tight or not tight enough if you don't have the correct tension on the straps. You have to take the time to adjust to what you have or it won't work properly. I bought this to wear with my renaissance festival outfit so the imperfections in the bag were fine with me. I was able to stow a bunk bag for camel bedding in it, leaving room for a few other items. The camel pack really takes up about half of the interior space. Due to the way it was packaged in plastic for shipping, there were some signs of wear on the bag. It wasn't too bad of a bother considering I'll be wearing it out at festivals. I haven't had any issues with the chemical smells that some people mention from other vendors or bags. It smelled like leather, but not much. What I use it for, it works great. I think the price is ok considering the actual material the bag is made of.
