Tried. I really tried. The coffee maker is very cute. Tiny. But it's very dirty. It ruined all of my bottom shelf cookbooks because it just splattered all over the place no matter how many times I checked to make sure the carafe was still in place. Also, the spout is poorly designed. No matter how slowly you try to pour the coffee, do it over the sink. Almost every time you get burned and lose a good chunk of coffee. Back to my Chemex. I missed my return deadline so tomorrow will be goodwill.
