First impressions are that this case is very well made and costs $30, but...

3.5/5 stars. It's strong enough for what it is. The zippers seem strong. Hard case/padding is sufficient. However, I would personally wish for a softer padding in the grip area of the iPad. Basically 0 padding. If this case had been dropped along with the iPad, it wouldn't have taken a big hit. Well, if your iPad is in an addiction folio case, or something that has some "padding," I feel safer if it accidentally falls. I think if you drop this from an iPad (without an additional case) it may damage the iPad depending on the height. However, I think a 1-2 foot drop in elevation would be fine. I will be using this primarily for light travel/storage. I'm taking it outside. You just have to store it to protect it from the weather and everything else. The fabric pen looks well cut and I'm sure I have a case with me. I can't use a pencil holder because I use the skin for my apple pencil and the skin stretches too much where I think it will damage the pencil skin. I personally would prefer velcro or something similar. Inside everything is very nice and soft. I can fit my Logitech k810 mouse and keyboard in it with no problem. All in all, this isn't a bad case. Even if that's not my ideal case. I'll look for something else. One with more iPad padding and one with a "harder" outer shell. While the outer shell of this case is pretty sturdy. I'm more looking for something that doesn't bend at all. And the hard outer shell of this case flexes a lot.
