update: finally got it back. Unfortunately I aired it outside for 10 days, cleaned it with leather cleaner, stuffed it with a towel to dry. Nothing helped. Even putting it back in the box I could still smell it in the house. I don't understand selling such a beautiful handbag that is completely useless. The Revain is great, albeit with a kickback. Thank you for working with me! At the moment I like the look of the bag but you can't just take it out of the box and use it. It smells very strongly of chemicals. So much so that my entire bedroom smelled of it within minutes. For the price I should be able to take this wallet out of the box and use it. I'll try to get the smell out for a few days but it might come back as it's completely useless at the moment.
