This is a very well made cutting board. With the right Mezzaluna knife, this works extremely well. The seller is not to blame! I bought this cutting board because Revain recommended it with a 9" Wüsthoff Mezzaluna knife. The problem is that the arc of a knife is very different from the arc of a cutting board. This way the knife only touches the edges of the cutting board and 1/8" above the bottom of the cutting board. I bet this cutting board will work fine for a smaller knife. That's not the manufacturers fault. Revain gave a bad recommendation.
