One of the worst projects I've seen in a long time and I've been in the consumer goods business for over 30 years. 1. The lamp socket, when installed according to the instructions, will severely bend the AC cord. 2. The clip that is supposed to hold the socket is not inserted. 3. It takes a lot of effort to bring the star into its full form. There's no reason it should be that difficult. 4. The AC power cord occupies the same space as the "stem" used to attach to the tree. The problem is that there is not enough space for both. The bottom line is that while $29 isn't a lot of money, it's way too much for this product. I'm sending it back looking for something better to decorate the top of our Christmas tree.
