Review on πŸ–₯️ Convenient Desk USB Hub with Grommet Hole, 3 USB 3.0 Ports, BC 1.2 USB Charger, Audio Jack, and iPhone/Smart Phone Compatibility - Includes AC Power Supply by Tony Stennis

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Very easy installation in the countertop, long cable, auxiliary power works well

I haven't had any problems so far. Installing it on an IKEA fiberboard table was a simple task, I used a 2 5/16" (59mm) hole saw. The metric bits. The connectors themselves appear to be well constructed with no kinks or other imperfections. Just like a USB -Connects to any other hub.The plastic is durable and will hold its shape when inserted. One note that may not be obvious to non-technical users is that since there are 4 ports that physically connect to the Sharing an interface on the host side, it's effectively a hub, meaning it shares bandwidth between all four ports when they're all in use - a problem for things like mice, keyboards, cameras or flash drives, but don't plan on using those to get full USB 3.0 speed from multiple high performance SSDs simultaneously through 4 ports, this won't affect 99% of users so it's not really a problem but it would be nice to offer the same product but with each pair of ports mapped to a physical classic USB connection. However, it may be better to just have a few dedicated/single port isolators for this use. The only other possible improvement I can think of is to make the USB cable detachable on the host side. This allows you to simply replace the supplied cable with a shorter or longer one. Overall very happy with the purchase and it looks really good.
