This device was a perfect replacement for one of the existing hubs in my desk that had failed. The biggest advantage of this device is that it is powered. My previous hub couldn't and couldn't support multiple devices at the same time. I've used it for charging, speakers and even an external hard drive. Works perfectly.

No frills. The product works. It achieves USB 3.0 speeds, connects to computers, looks clean on a desktop, and has an accessory slot if you want to use it for other items. To assemble, loosen the outer ring (without breaking it), make a template on the cardboard, after cutting the hole, make sure it fits, use the template on the table surface.

It arrived quickly and fits perfectly on my desk so it doesn't pop out when I pull out the USB cable or memory card. All connections work fine with my PC's USB 3.0 port. The pins that come out below work well if your computer is close to the install location, but if your computer is further away you'll need a USB extension cable to get there. I would consider buying another one in the future if I need one.

I even bought a 60mm hole saw for this based on the answers to the FAQ which turned out to be overkill. Luckily I had some duct tape which I wrapped around a strap and it created a very tight die-cut compression seal. I also collected HDMI cables from each device that comes with one, so I had no problem connecting some HDMIs but not others. Works well for the price but not without inconveniences.

When I use more than 3 ports the thing gets very hot. It also reduces the speed of all ports. For experimental purposes I wanted to test all 4 ports at once. To do this, I connected a Logitech Unifying receiver (for keyboard and mouse), a 64GB stick, a 128GB stick, and a USB AC charging cable.
