When I use more than 3 ports the thing gets very hot. It also reduces the speed of all ports. For experimental purposes I wanted to test all 4 ports at once. To do this, I connected a Logitech Unifying receiver (for keyboard and mouse), a 64GB stick, a 128GB stick, and a USB AC charging cable. When two flash drives were connected the whole thing got hot and everything was so delayed that I disconnected the drives. If you can't use all 4 ports, what's the point? I would pay more for less if it was reliable.
