Review on πŸ”Œ Sealproof Rectangular Weatherproof Exterior Electrical Outlet by David Lesperance

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good metal box in electrical boxes, wiring and fittings

On the fence near the pool at night I keep an 80 watt insect trap. I like the way they kill bugs! Of course I needed a way to waterproof the 110 volt connector instead of just wrapping it in duct tape. I used this cute little lid in combination with a metal box that I also bought from Revain here: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0756M5NP3/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I have 110 Added volt 2 - gear output and attached it to the fence. It's a very good idea to dry build first to see how everything fits; Which side does the lid open from? and exactly where on the fence it should be. The outlet itself has two small plugs that stick out so you can screw it to the fence. Mark these holes with a pen or marker and drill a small pilot hole for the screw. (Or use an ice pick to make a starting hole). ?dchild=1&keywords=Flowtron+bug+zapper&qid=1606837743&sr=8-7 The photo sensor is here: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000P0FPVO/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o09_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 he didn't work during the day. The end of the plug goes into our patio and I plug it into an extension cord where I installed another outlet with a switch. So I can switch off the lightning protection current at night in the event of rain or thunderstorms. It's not a good idea to leave lightning protection on when it's raining! I could say yes, these lightning rods should probably be installed under the eaves of the house, but I wanted to keep the bugs off the fence rather than attracting them to the house or patio. I just drive like this! Next time I won't use the ugly orange extension cord.
