This item has worked great for about a week. It was intended for use in a 600 square meter building. feet, and together with an old Lasko heater it kept the atmosphere warm enough. I came home one Friday and smelled a terrible smell of burning electricity. I had a Pelonis heater hooked up to an APC surge protector about ten years old and the smell was coming from APC. A desktop PC and an LED monitor are connected to the same surge protector. I thought the surge protector was bad so I threw it away and replaced it with another one. I connected the heater to the new surge protection strip and went to bed. The next morning the climb was working so I restarted it. A few minutes later the smell returned. The wires on both the stabilizer and heater felt very hot so I unplugged the heater and haven't used it since. I will not buy a Pelonis device again and will not recommend this product to anyone. buy paint.
