This item is definitely a fire hazard! I only left it on and off in my son's room for an hour or two, FIRST USE mind you, and when I tried to move it to a different outlet closer to his bed, the cord itself was so hot it almost burned my fingers burned. ! Of course the return window is 10 days old, but I wouldn't even risk using it again anywhere in the house, rubbish.

I like this little ceramic heater. It does its job and the warmth is soft. I use it in my bathroom (not despite the manufacturer's warning) away from water sources of course, and it really helps in the one room in my old house that the stove doesn't reach. It's quiet, the dials are responsive. I also appreciate the way it was packaged - almost no non-recyclable materials. I would buy another one without hesitation.

This pulsating heater was just what I needed to warm up the bathroom before bathing my 5 month old baby. I am giving three stars because the description is very misleading. It says 'Thermostat', suggesting that you can set the temperature and the heater will detect when the room reaches that temperature. He doesn't have that option.
