For months I've been researching and comparing products to replace an 8 year old Asus laptop with all sorts of outdated software. This computer met my expectations. Per; large clear screen, lots of disk, memory and processor speed. Today (Day 2) I spent transferring files, updating and installing apps and everything went smoothly. After about an hour I decided to turn on music. Unfortunately, the speakers didn't produce any discernible noises. After about an hour of troubleshooting using HP's built-in diagnostics, I was able to determine that there was an issue with the audio driver. Please note that the sound worked yesterday when I used the machine for the first time yesterday. Using the HP software, I was able to diagnose the problem, reload the driver, and/or repair it. Conclusion: Great calculator. Too bad it has a buggy driver and great self-help tools
