This solar panel discharged a fully charged 8200mAh battery in 12 hours at night. Installing a 1 amp diode to stop the reverse current solved the problem. I consider this item to be defective. This solar panel is part of my project to charge my Arlo Pro 2 camera all year round with a solar panel. The voltage of the solar panel ranges from 0V to 9V. The Lipro 7.4V 6000mah battery supports voltages from 7.6V to 8V depending on the light intensity in the solar panel. A diode was installed in the solar line to prevent reverse current at night. This creates a voltage drop of 0.5 volts, correcting the maximum voltage to 8.5. The battery is connected in parallel to the camera via an LC filter to eliminate possible ripple effects that affect image quality.
