very expensive to the cost of production; Difficult to remove Escort Detector

Good quality hardware but lacks design flaws. appearance and provide a stronger and more stable mounting system for the Escort iX and the new Escort M1 street camera. (Don't waste your money on a traffic camera). The mount was professionally installed by my authorized escort installer and the mount looks great. The problem is that it sits right under my factory rearview mirror (I don't have a "smart mirror" in my 2020 Silverado, so I have to flip a switch under the mirror to to switch from day to night mode). To remove the detector from its magnet mount you have to flip the back up to detach it from the magnet and I can't do this without first rotating the sensor. the back of the detector (still attached to the bracket) down to clear it, then rotate it back up to remove it from the bracket. too lost to hold its target position while driving. When I use the (additional) add-on to mount my Escort M1 street camera on the bracket; Things get even more awkward because I'm also moving the camera while removing the detector. Result; looks good; fails to execute and I can't do it without rotating the sensor first. the back of the detector (still attached to the bracket) down to clear it, then rotate it back up to remove it from the bracket. too lost to hold its target position while driving.
