I'm familiar with this chemistry so when I discovered CMX I had to try it. I've used the spray on many surfaces to see if, like the base chemistry, it can make other items shine and repel water and dirt - and it did. For example: ceramic hob, coffee machine burner. Inside is a microwave, stainless steel appliances and a walk in shower. Short-term effect: place the egg on the hot stovetop, let it cool down and wipe off without leaving any residue; and throw it out of the pot - no problem. Used in a porcelain sink and the shaving residue will disappear down the drain. Rinse the walls of shower stalls clean, but do not put edges on the floor. As with automotive finishes, CMX and chemicals are safe for hard surfaces. I've used this on all plastic, stainless steel, encapsulated wood panels and of course varnish. Everything took on a rich, deep luster and seemed to shed pollen. This can replace some of the products I currently use on various parts of the car and is possibly the most helpful product around the house for preventing stains. have at one's fingertips.
