Should have looked at the reviews. There was a very bad order. I washed it immediately to get rid of the smell, it still smells a little. After washing, it faded so badly in my washing machine that it blocked my spin cycle. Holds up like a furry animal. What a mess. I tumble dried it after a few cycles and it squeaked a bit because of the wool. It's finally becoming a warm blanket, but not as big as it used to be. Add a little Downey fabric softener to your laundry to solve odor problems. It works.
