I bought this shovel in October 2016. I cut it to make a sand shovel that I use with metal detectors to search the beach. So far the shovel has met all my expectations. Thing is, I paid $17.05. I am writing this review at the end of November 2016 and the price is $46. For $17 this is an AMAZING shovel! I guess I got lucky and someone made a mistake and entered a "value" of $17 instead of a sell price of $46. I wish I had ordered 2. The grand total of $46 is equal to other "food" scoops. You have to test yourself. If you don't need food grade snow removal or sand screening, there are cheaper solutions. You think it might be useful for others, click "Yes".
