Review on 🌊 RDEXP Automatic Water Level Control Valve for 1/2" Water Tanks - Water Float Valve by Tim Toscano

Worked about 4 months. Almost flooded my living room. Edit: It's good when used for the right application. I opened it up and found it quite complex inside and it originally came with a pre-filter mesh but I ended up not using it which was a mistake. The inside is easy to get clogged, which can cause the float and mechanism to not work fully. It also really needs to be used in very clean water to prevent this from happening. I used this in an aquarium and the water came from a mixing barrel which still collects solids although the water is generally clean. This float is best used immediately after the water filter unit in a container that is kept clean. I just replaced it with a standard flow valve which is much simpler and suits my needs.
