This is a great helmet. I've had two neck surgeries and one lower back surgeries, but I still LOVE snowmobiling. I have had neck and shoulder fatigue in the past due to neck adhesions and the heaviness of my helmet. I love that the face mask can be attached OR removed for warmth and anti-fog and goggles which I don't use but some people like it. It's so light that I'm sure it will be a big improvement over my other good helmet, but heavy on me. WARNING: Measurements are accurate. I ordered a medium original and it was too loose and I had to return it for a small. It's tight at the moment, but I know the foam will loosen over time. I'll use a lighter balaclava for a while until it loosens up. The environment was still loose with the fleece balaclava so pay close attention to the 509 measurements as they are very accurate.
