I bought this relay to fit the system I was planning to install on a Model T Ford. It was exactly what I wanted. I needed it to work with LED turn signals and to have a third pin for the "panel" light. The "panel" light connector on the turn signal relay sends a flashing 12V current to a light (reminder) on the dash. The reminder indicator works the same whether you're signaling left or right - you don't need to have two reminder indicators (one for a right turn and one for a left turn) or hook up diodes for it to work. In my case I just wanted to be reminded to turn off the turn signal as it doesn't turn off automatically.
