Wash them before you use them
The crushed glass came in a 10lb plastic bag. There was a lot of white glass dust on the item. Unfortunately I didn't wash the dust off first and the dust particles caused my fame to go out within 10 minutes. Not once but three times. After looking on the internet for an answer I took all the crushed glass out, washed it with soapy water, let it dry, wiped out the pit and replaced the crushed glass. The Fire Pit worked perfectly and stayed lit until I shut it off two hours latter. There should of been a note on the bag to wash it first.
- Perfect but needed more.
- Look great so long as you don’t light the fire.. browned after the first couple fires...
